! Estoy mejor ! I'm better! Robert suggested I make a new post to replace the last one saying I was sick-- I've recovered!
Eric and I were "holed up" in one of the most beautiful places in San Miguel de Allende today during a super heavy downpour. We were out walking; the sky was getting darker and we were on our way to a cafe in El Jardín to do our homework. We stopped in a bookstore in Bella Artes, an x-convent and the site where the beginning of San Miguel as an artist colony began. The rain let loose while we were in the bookstore, creating small rivers in the streets, which were impossible to cross, so we started to explore Bellas Artes and keep dry, finding a table in the Bella Artes' cafe to do our homework. ReplyDeleteEric's Spanish is really coming along. He has a good head and has the confidence he needs to just "talk" and try-- I love that about him. I was much more hesitant when I was at that level. It's been fun being with him and having this time together for sure.
You can always count on Eric to give his best effort when he decides to do something!
