We arrived late last night and met the family we will be staying with for 3 weeks-- The Lamas Family-- Ausencio and Matilde, but they go by Chencho y Chela. We walked the calles of San Miguel de Allende today and enjoyed a nice cold Michelada before returning "home" for la comida and watching the sad ending of Mexico vs. Argentina.

The photo of your new pet canary reminds me of my Grandmothers hobby of collecting canaries and parrots and the familiar chirping I'd hear whenever I came to her house in Glenpark.
